Mystic Iran: the unseen world
Sunday, October 28th, 2007This film by Aryana Farshad is a beautiful exploration of mysticism in Iran from Islam to Zorastorism to Sufism. Much of the film follows a pilgrimmage by a group of women dervishes. The cinematography is beautiful and the message is one of hope and tolerance. I highly recommend this film.

My favorite episode included a duel fought using two types of instruments with dueling musical tones.
